Mangroves shows the colours and patterns of biodiversity that protect the land from coastal erosion.
My work is inspired by colours, forms, and textures in the landscape that I see in aerial images; and from my experiences in ‘going bush’, camping and exploring alpine rivers, outback deserts and rugged coastlines in remote regions of Australia.
I use acrylic paints in various forms from highly textured to liquid, and some artwork is further developed digitally as a base for more painting or digital prints.
