Minerals can reveal remarkable changes in colour, density and reflectivity depending on how they are formed and how light reaches their surface. This work draws on those qualities, imagining a geological fragment greatly enlarged. Its changing surface reflects my interest in the complex mineral structures concealed beneath the landscape we see.
